1John 1:8-9 reads, "If we say that we have no sin we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Remember Jesus said in John 10:27-28, "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them out of My hand. "
James 1:22 reads, "But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. "
1 Timothy 1:5-7 reads, "But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.
For some men, straying from these things have turned aside to fruitless discussion,
wanting to be teachers of the Law, even though they do not understand either what they are saying or the matters about which they make confident assertions."
2 Timothy 4:3-5 reads, "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers, in accordance to their own desires; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and will turn aside to myths.
But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry."
Hebrews 10:23-25 reads, "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful;
and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds,
not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more, as you see the day drawing near."
Philippians 4:6-8 reads, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things."
1 Peter 1:14-16 reads, "As obedient children do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance,
but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior;
because it is written, "You shall be holy, for I am holy."
